Coming together in the middle of February comes with some risk, but this year’s Annual meeting attendance was spectacular.  We were fortunate to have several special guests join us for our annual dinner.  We appreciate everyone has limited time in their schedule and we can’t thank you enough for choosing to join us as we recap 2018 and look forward to 2019 and beyond.

Outgoing board president Tim Wolff, Colony Brands, was unable to attend due to travel commitments so incoming president Lynn Molinaro and Melissa Even recognized exiting board members, Jeff Maliszewski and Fuzzy Karlen and presented an award to Phil Vosberg for their dedication to the Board of directors.

Ambassador awards were presented to Doug Sutter, Keller, Inc. and Val Johnson, Woodford State Bank for their dedication to promoting the Chamber of Commerce as well as their volunteer contributions.

The crowd was all ears for our Key Note Speaker, Andrew Nussbaum, Regional Tourism Representative, Wisconsin Department of Tourism.  Starting out with a video of Tony Zgraggen yodeling is a guaranteed way to keep a crowd’s attention.  His message was powerful as he pointed out the unique culture and spirit of Monroe and our surrounding communities, which was the basis for the recent statewide tourism platform.

Enjoy some photos of a fun evening.  We hope to see you there next year.
