October Member Of The Month

The Ambassadors Coffee Break Brew Crew met with Badger State Ethanol  CEO Erik Huschitt as we thanked him for being such an invested partner in the city of Monroe and the business community. October is manufacturing Month in Wisconsin and we wanted to recognize BSE for their green and renewable initiatives. We learned so much about what has been accomplished as they reach their 20th year in business. Erik repeatedly used the phrase, When speaking about his personal beliefs,  “Doing the right thing for the right reason.”  It was clear he meant what he said as he shared how they are always looking to further the use of grain.   Thanks to Chocolate Temptation, we were able to share some coffee and chocolate chip cookies. We were happy to get a picture with a few employees, Daniel Rivera, Toni Voegeli, Colette Walters, Melissa Even, Erik Huschitt, David Mansfield, Nicole Witt, Laurie Canova, Marta Prahl, Anna Johnson and Val Johnson.

Welcome September New Members

Located at: 1014 17th Ave, Monroe Wi, 53566  Our family has a bit of a vacation tradition. We’ve visited the same place in Florida on a few occasions and on at least one day of each trip, Daddy will wake up the kids before sunrise to go hunt for sand dollars on the beach. And sometimes Mama comes too. Afterward, we always stop at the local donut shop. These are some of our family’s very best morning memories. We’ve always looked forward to these mornings together.

In 2020, Daddy & Mama (aka Kevin & Kelsey) walked by a building for sale on the historic Square in Monroe and joked about buying it and starting a donut café. The joking quickly turned more and more serious. We loved the idea of rehabbing the building and creating a new place in our own community that would foster some great relationships and memories around some great food and drink.

We believe we have some of the best coffee and donuts around, served by some of the best staff around in order to build just that sort of atmosphere. Come as you are and pay us a visit. We hope you feel at home as soon as you walk through the door. We look forward to seeing you!

September Member of the Month: Lamers

September is “Back to School” and it could not possibly happen without bus drivers. Our Ambassadors Brew Crew wanted to thank Denise Schindler and her dedicated staff of drivers, mechanics and all around jacks of all trades that take personal care of our youngsters. From day-to-day school trips to special events and competitions, these drivers have seen it all. The Ambassadors gathered in one of the smaller busses designed to transport kids as young as 3 years old. The  special seats have harness and booster seats to keep them protected.  Enjoy the photos and click the link to see all the great shots from our Chamber Photographer Second Crop Creative https://adobe.ly/3lbRaie

Childhood memories of school bus rides were shared by Ambassadors Kim Berg, Amanda Gerber, Val Johnson, Luke Smetters, Daniel Rivera, Nataly Cervantes. We were happy to get such a thorough view of what a day in the life at Lamers looks like. Colette Walters, Melissa Even and all of us at the Chamber want to thank Denise for her dedication and leadership.
