Spotlight on Lahman Chiropractic, by Dr. Adam Lahman
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Dr. Adam Lahman. I had been working as an associate at Guerin Chiropractic up until July 2016. I received my Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic located in Davenport, IA. Prior to attending Chiropractic College, I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University Northwest. My wife Becky and I have been together for 9 years and have lived in Crown Point, Indiana for over 20 years. I chose to become a chiropractor because I wanted to help people.
I had my first adjustment the day I was born and it’s been a fundamental part of my life ever since. I knew I had found my calling and our journey began, bringing us eventually to Monroe. We fell in love with this town, knowing it was the perfect place for us to raise a family and call home. My wife and I are very fortunate to have met Dr. Lance and his wife Diana, and have this opportunity to take over such an amazing practice. I am so impressed with the vision of Dr. Lance, and I am committed to maintaining the high level of care that has been provided over the years. I will continue to use similar techniques, as well as implementing new ones when necessary.

Industrial Combustion is a leading manufacturer of burners designed for commercial, industrial and institutional applications. The history of our product line is a long and enviable one. For nearly 70 years, our burners have been part of virtually every major boiler manufacturer’s packaged products. We have been proud to be a part of Monroe and the great heritage in the area.
Superior design is the key to our products’ ongoing popularity. Industrial Combustion was the first company to introduce air-atomizing systems to burner designs. Since then, Industrial Combustion has led the industry in the development of new burner technologies. Our commitment to research and development assures Industrial Customers of having the most technologically advanced burner systems available.
Today, our wide range of products has enabled Industrial Combustion to become a leader in both domestic and international markets. Industrial Combustion burners are still standard equipment in virtually every leading boiler manufacturer.
We are also the burner-of-choice when upgrading existing boiler installations for maximum fuel efficiency. Our vision is to be the worldwide leading manufacturer of combustion equipment – and supplier of choice for the commercial, industrial and institutional heating and steam generation markets. Through a commitment of quality and performance, dedication toward safety and protecting our environment, we will continue to aggressively strengthen our position in the industry. Industrial Combustion will provide its owners a fair and reasonable return while maintaining a work environment that promotes the health, creativity, and spirit of our employees.

Synqronus Communications is proud to announce that we have officially opened our doors, at 910 17th Avenue, Monroe!
Synqronus Communications is a group of individuals focused on providing marketing solutions for companies and organizations throughout the tri-state area. Our three areas of expertise include Brand Development, Media Production, and Content Marketing. Implementing this structure will give companies an edge over their competition, and better deliver their message and brand.
We ask one simple question: What are you trying to communicate?
We take an in-depth look into your company to determine exactly who your demographic is, how to reach them, and how we can help you. We then organize your content in an effort to create the most precise and targeted message to the consumer. Content and message strategy is one of most important, and unfortunately most underutilized steps in the marketing process. Far too often, needed attention to this procedure is skipped, resulting in an undefined brand. That’s where we can help.
In addition, we also staff a full media crew comprised of cinematographers, photographers, audio engineers, web developers, and copy writers. This team works with you to create the media that is deployed with that message. These are really talented folks who really love what they do.
We are thrilled with the opportunity to work in Monroe and Green County, and to be new Chamber Members. Please look for our Grand Opening coming in Early June. All are welcome to attend. For more information, visit synqronus.com.

MC – Your Chamber Ribbon Cutting was just about a year ago. How have things gone over the first year since your ribbon cutting?
TJ – The past year has been a complete blur. We quickly realized our current production area was not going to sustain us, so we broke ground on a new production facility in the summer and moved into that in October. We started out with 6 wines on our tasting menu and are now at 11 with more coming. We launched a new wine package called FUN BAGS which has been a huge success. We’ve had some really great events in our first year, and continue with plans for more. We also started selling our wines through distribution, and are licensed to direct ship to Illinois.
MC – As a new business owner, I’m sure you had expectations before you opened. Have they been met?
TJ – Business has been beyond our expectations. In our first 9 months, we quadrupled our original business plan for the number of cases of wine sold. We’ve already completed our first expansion and are reviewing plans for an additional expansion down the road.
MC – What has surprised you the most?
TJ – The support of our customers and the local communities.
MC – What do you know now, that you wish you would have known then?
TJ – Make more wine!
MC – What/who are you most thankful for?
TJ – We are most thankful for our awesome customers and their support along with the Chamber, Green County and all the surrounding communities. We are also very thankful for the great staff that we have with us on this crazy ride. We couldn’t do it without them.
MC – What other things should Chamber Members know about your business?
TJ – We are now open 7 days a week – 11 am-7 pm through September. Our Winter hours of Wed- Sat, 11 am-7 pm and Sundays 12-5 pm will be in effect from October- April. Check out our website at www.hawksmillwinery.com and our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/hawksmillwinery/
